- Don't be trapped between the vehicle, an open car door, the pump, and the hose.
- While the vehicle is being fueled, move away from the gas nozzle to allow for a wider field of view and to allow for an avenue of escape. Standing at the front bumper is a better position than standing at the gas cap.
- Be alert for violence. Conceal carry all the time. Get off the X if attacked!
